Heroes Behind the Scenes: Making Safety and Stability Possible

When an emergency arises, true character is revealed. During the recent mandatory evacuation impacting three QMG communities surrounding Garden Grove, a group of dedicated team members came together to navigate an incredibly challenging and rapidly evolving situation. Their commitment to our residents, willingness to step in wherever needed, and determination to find solutions exemplified the very best of QMG.

This “Caught You Doing Good” recognition goes to @Rodrigo Nadres, @Tania Daniels, @Brandy Cruze, @Ardette Spearman, and @Winston Escobar for their extraordinary efforts during the emergency evacuation.

When three QMG communities fell within the mandatory evacuation zone, this team immediately stepped up to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. Rodrigo and Tania quickly organized site teams, coordinated resident communication, arranged transportation, and worked tirelessly to support residents throughout the evacuation process.

As the situation evolved, many residents required temporary hotel accommodations during a holiday weekend when room availability was extremely limited due to widespread evacuations throughout the region. Without hesitation, Brandy, Ardette, Winston, Rodrigo, and Tania came together and spent countless hours researching resources, making calls, and exploring every possible option to secure safe accommodations for residents in need.

Their dedication did not stop there. The team continued working late into the evening and throughout the holiday weekend to ensure residents had access to shelter, meals, transportation, and ongoing support. Even after evacuation orders were lifted, they remained committed to helping residents safely return home and transition back into their communities.

This team exemplified QMG’s core values every step of the way:

Trust: Residents and team members knew they could depend on them during a time of uncertainty.

Respect: They treated every resident with compassion, dignity, and care.

Development : They collaborated, problem-solved, and continuously sought solutions to meet residents’ needs.

Adaptability: They remained flexible and responsive as circumstances changed throughout the emergency.

Sustainability: They worked to create stability and ensure residents remained safe, supported, and cared for during a challenging time.

Thank you, Rodrigo, Tania, Brandy, Ardette, and Winston, for going above and beyond. Your commitment, teamwork, and dedication made a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and demonstrated the very best of QMG.

Thank you for making safety and stability possible when it mattered most!
